Calibrates the elderly user's touch targets to the way they actually tap, so the launcher tiles, contacts and on-screen buttons respond correctly to their hand size, reach and tapping style instead of a generic touch model.
Tremor-Free Touch
Filters shaky and accidental touches by tuning the press-duration and tap-debounce, so users with trembling hands or unsteady fingers can operate ViaTouch without unintentionally launching the wrong action.
Easy Screen Lock with Face Detection
Unlocks ViaTouch when the elderly user simply looks at it, removing the need to remember a PIN or pattern while keeping the device unusable for someone who isn't present.
Theming
Lets the caregiver choose from preset visual themes (including high-contrast and large-font variants) and assign them remotely, so the screen looks comfortable and readable for that specific user.
Peace of Mind
Know they're safe, reachable, and okay.
SOS Alerts
Notifies the caregiver immediately on phone and PWA when the elderly user triggers the SOS button, including their current location.
Fall Detection
Detects a likely fall using the phone's motion sensors and automatically triggers an SOS to the caregiver if the elderly user does not cancel within a short grace period.
Location Sharing
Lets the caregiver see the current and recent location of the elderly user's ViaTouch from the caregiver app or PWA, with the elderly user's consent.
Low Battery Alerts
Notifies the caregiver in the app or PWA when the elderly user's ViaTouch battery is running low, so they can remind them to charge it.
Call Whitelist
Lets the caregiver decide which numbers are allowed to call or be called by the elderly user, blocking scams, spam, and confusing unknown callers.
Call & SMS Peek
Lets the caregiver review the elderly user's recent calls and SMS from the caregiver app — with sender name and photo resolved — to spot missed calls, scam attempts or unanswered family messages.
Remote Management
Lets the caregiver change settings on the elderly user's ViaTouch — ringtone, volume, brightness, screen timeout, call handling, theme colours and more — from their own app or PWA, with no visit or phone explanation needed.
